been seeing dr. levy for more than 20 years, and says he met played a major role in saving her sister's life. >> he basically saved her life. that is all she could think about is how much he saved her life. >> she also says while she was given this note from hopkins days after his firing, she did not find out why until she started seeing it on the news. >> it is even more devastating. >> according to sources close to the case, dr. levy committed suicide by suffocating himself after wrapping a plastic bag around his head and filling it with helium. police say he left a note near where his body was found in his baltimore county home. 10 days prior, hopkins fired him for inappropriately photographic and video taking -- videotaping his patients.

she was caught on video abusing an elderly man, a former at home caretaker is now headed to prison. sarah is live outside the courthouse tonight with more on today's guilty plea. >> anastasia oluoch gave one word answers when she answered questions from the judge and did not say much else before she was sentenced to two years in jail. the daughter of the victim said she would like to see her serve more time, but she is satisfied. >> when you are fighting for some and you love, you just keep going. >> jackie taylor's guide to more than five years. back in 2007, after installing security cameras, she discovered that the caretaker she hired for her 90-year-old father was abusing him while she was at work. >> there was no other way for me to keep an eye on him than to have the cameras there.

it anyway. >> there has been a de facto moratorium on the death penalty since a 2006 high court ruling that the state did not properly develop protocols to carry it out. >> the state is not enforcing the death penalty now. why have it on the books? >> or why take it off? i believe there are certain crimes that are so heinous that people deserve the death penalty. >> repeal at the goods include a diverse group of clergy. and archbishop recently testified in support of the repeal bill. >> you don't create closure for the victims. you don't really create a more crime free society by taking life. >> in addition to repeal, the bill directs the governor to put a half billion dollars a year into a fund for crime victims. some argue that turns the measure into an appropriations bill which can be petitioned to a ballot.
